New Delhi: Surya Narayan Panigrahi has taken charge as Executive Director (Human Resources) at NTPC Limited, bringing with him more than 36 years of experience with the power sector major.
During his long tenure with NTPC, Panigrahi has handled several key HR responsibilities across recruitment, training and development, industrial relations, employee welfare, administration, security, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and HR digitalisation.
He has served at several major NTPC establishments and has gained extensive experience in managing human-resource functions and organisational development across the company.
His appointment to the position of Executive Director (HR) comes at a time when NTPC continues to focus on strengthening its workforce, developing talent and adopting technology-driven HR practices.
Panigrahi’s extensive experience across diverse HR functions is expected to contribute to NTPC’s continued efforts towards employee development, organisational efficiency and effective people management.
