Anirudh Yadav Appointed Officer on Special Duty to Union Minister Manohar Lal

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Anirudh Yadav, a private individual, as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power, Shri Manohar Lal.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Yadav will serve in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs at the level of Deputy Secretary, with pay at Level 12 of the Pay Matrix.

The appointment has been approved on a contractual basis for a period of four years, effective from the date he assumes charge of the post. However, the tenure will be subject to the continuation of the Minister, his role as OSD, or further orders, whichever occurs earliest.

The official memorandum, issued by the Office of the Establishment Officer at Kartavya Bhavan-03, New Delhi, follows a proposal submitted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on September 18, 2026.

The appointment formalises Yadav’s role in the Minister’s office, with the tenure governed by the conditions specified in the government order.
