New Delhi, October 31, 2026: The Government of India has approved the appointment of Shri Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, IAS (Tripura: 2016), as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Financial Services, New Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.
According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on October 30, 2026, Jaiswal will serve for a tenure of four years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The order directs the Chief Secretary of the Government of Tripura to relieve the officer of his current responsibilities immediately to enable him to join his new assignment at the Centre.
The appointment has been approved by the competent authority and communicated through an official memorandum issued by the Office of the Establishment Officer, DoPT.
The Central Staffing Scheme facilitates the appointment of officers from various state cadres to important positions in the Central Government, strengthening administrative coordination and governance at the national level.
